Fluted Round Fibreglass Columns

Fluted Round Columns have graced Castles, Court houses, Churches and many other grand entrances for centuries. They are also available to enhance your home. 

These fibreglass columns offer the same structural strength as their smooth counterparts, however these are heavier and thicker to allow for the Flutes to be cut into the outer shell. Fluted columns are available in a variety of heights an diameters, however, keep the fluting in mind as the length of the flutinng cannot be changed or customized. This is important because fluted columns are only available in whole lengths (8,9,10,12 foot lengths) and only a couple of inches can be cut off without interrupting the flutes. 

Although Fluted Columns are structural and thick, they do not accept railings very well. The reason for this is that the flutes are narrow and do not allow for the railings screws to be properly secured. With this in mind, we would suggest using Newel Posts to finish the railings off on each side of a fluted column.
