Rotted Porch Balcony Fascia?

Using Versatex PVC to replace your Fascia

Replacing your fascia can be accomplished in just a day using our Cellular PVC products from Versatex, making it an excellent choice for PVC fascia replacement, especially when dealing with rotted wood. PVC is an ideal material because it is waterproof, insect-proof, and mimics the appearance, installation, and painting of wood, without the common drawbacks associated with using wood outdoors.

Typically, rotting fascias result from a leaky roof or improper water diversion, often seen in flat roof situations where water pools in one corner or a leak in the waterproof membrane allows water to trickle in from above. Over time, this moisture can damage the fascia and potentially the support beams hidden behind it. While we cannot replace your roof or resolve any water issues, our fascia installation service can effectively replace the fascia once the underlying problems have been addressed.

We start by removing the existing materials to expose the beams beneath. After ensuring that the existing wood is in good condition, we proceed with the installation. We bring whole sheets of PVC to the site and cut them down to the required lengths. If porch column services are also needed, we install the columns first so that the PVC can be customized to fit cleanly around the capitals.

The picture above shows a typical fascia with simple lines and linear design. If you wish to add decorative elements to your porch, we offer access to decorative PVC trims that can elevate the overall look. Crown moldings, brick moldings, panel molds, and corner blocks can all be incorporated into the installation, provided there is sufficient space to accommodate them.

Once the installation is complete, we ensure everything is cleaned up, and the fascia is ready for paint to match the rest of your porch.
